I think I must be at or near the age where a majority of those whose sacrifices we celebrate today were younger than me.

Thank you.

It's been a strange few days in some ways...
Fun, but strange.

Two nights in a row I had dreams about two different former gfs...

I think that accounts for the strangeness.

Oh yeah, and Bavaria... it really does deserve it's status as offical morning after breakfast locale...

"Hegel remarks somewhere that all great, world-historical facts and personages occur, as it were, twice. He has forgotten to add: the first time as tragedy, the second as farce."

Thank goodness I'm seemingly not a 'great, world-historical ... personage'

Although perhaps that would allow me laugh more.
I go to the trouble of waking up at 0730 hours on a saturday to put in some morning overtime, ride down to milwaukee, wait in traffic, 'trunk' in the parking lot, and enjoy a delicious Klement's brat, and the Brewers still get trounced by the Twins of all teams.

Next time I guess I need to hold onto my tastebuds and drink something that's good enough (or better than it has to be?), rather than some other brewer's product.

I love the smell of fresh asphalt in the morning.
