The gods of internet access irony must be laughing at me now...

Just as soon as I get my cable modem, my computer goes haywire.
Troubleshooting using parts from my old (parents' current) computer leads me to believe that it's a video card problem, so I order a video card.
That arrives, and I find out that it doesn't work either (in either my or my parents' system), so I assume it's broken and RMA it.
Maybe in a couple weeks I'll have a functional comp. Or perhaps I'll break down and attempt to purchase a barebones system from the SWAP shop... perhaps I'll even get a mac...
